Route de Corniche and Harbors

Today's images can speak for themselves. The ride along the Route de Corniche was fun, gorgeous and far too short. The water in the Bay of Gascony is amazingly clear. The harbors  are picturesque. There is one image that probably only one person on the planet will know why it is included and I hope he laughs.

  1. OMG Susan. It's breathtakingly beautiful, and I wonder why I think I need to work in a basement with a bunch of oppositional adolescents instead of cycling with you. Oh yeah, the mountains, that's why. I'll have to stay in the Berkshires, though today's ride sounds flat enough. I love the Florida sign--is there one everywhere?

Hi greyhaired..... I'll puzzle trying to put your moniker and face together today, it escapes me now, but then I've not yet had any coffee. Basement and teenagers, was last year's worksite much nicer?

Yesterday's ride was flat enough for anyone in the Berkshires and pretty enough for anyone, anywhere.

Florida signs.... I don't know about one everywhere, but one Narbonne Plage, on the Mediterranean. Everyone wants to live where my brother does live.

  2. Awesome photos. I still haven't been 'way' over there to ride, so keep 'em coming!

    1. Thanks, I'll try to. That section of coast is gorgeous, but really very short, maybe 8, 10 miles. Tons of cyclists on it as you can imagine. I wanted to ride the Spanish coast also, but after wasting a long time bumbling around in suburban-like neighborhoods in Ciboure, and then in the town of Irun (Spain) I totally regretfully abandonned the idea.
