We continued along the Canal du Midi to Carcassone, a restored (sometimes fancifully) medieval walled citadel, now full of shops, restaurants, hotels for visitors, and one of the most visited sites in France. I constantly thought of my nieces Peyton and Kylie. Peyton is a huge Harry Potter fan and anyone who loves Harry would have an imaginative feast in this medieval citadel.
