Paris, February 2016

An expert I know asked "Why no posts from you?" To which I replied "Mine is a cycling blog."

Then I learned this from him, judge for yourself. "You are doing the chapter that you often skip: Pre-cultural acclimatization, which strengthens the cyclist's ability to overcome physical barriers in the environment of the specific upcoming event. It must be done 8-10 weeks prior to peaking for the main event so the body, when training is continued, will naturally adapt an affinity to the particular ecological and geological ecosystem the cyclist faces. Paris only counts as a 7 in a 1 to 10 scale, but it is significantly better than zero. It is, though, a 7 that covers 15% of the training plan."

Here are some photos for you, but no photo I take will ever come close to doing this extraordinary and so very beautiful city justice.

    1. Glad you like it, I was hoping it would make some cyclist out there smile ... it's an exact quote, but I won't tell who my expert is!
